This agreement is made and entered into on this day of _____________, 20____, by and between the parties hereby referred to as « The Firm » and « The Employee. »

Whereas, The Firm recognizes the value of diversity in the legal profession and aims to promote an inclusive and equitable workplace;

And whereas, The Employee acknowledges the importance of diversity and agrees to uphold the principles of diversity and inclusion in their practice of law;

Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

1. The Firm shall actively promote diversity and inclusion within its workplace, including but not limited to recruitment, retention, and promotion of individuals from diverse backgrounds;

2. The Employee shall participate in diversity training and education programs provided by The Firm, and actively contribute to the promotion of diversity within the legal community;

3. The Firm and The Employee shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to diversity and discrimination, including but not limited to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and relevant state and local laws;

4. The Firm and The Employee shall work together to create an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment, and fosters a culture of respect and inclusivity;

5. This contract shall remain in effect for the duration of The Employee`s employment with The Firm, and any breach of the terms outlined herein may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
